October 2024 will see the doors open to Tinder’s pop-up nail bar, Nailing Dating™, created in partnership with global non-profit organisation NO MORE.

The pop-up nail bar aims to celebrate positive and empowered dating with the release of Tinder and NO MORE’s Ten ‘Tips’ alongside free manicures.

This comes as new research1 from Tinder and NO MORE reveals that while 57% of single women (aged 18-35 years old) talk candidly about dating when having a manicure, three quarters (75%) hold back from discussing their dating lives with friends and family.

So, to help empower dating journeys, Nailing Dating is here to share Tinder and NO MORE’s Ten Tips to help you date with confidence, whilst giving you a *free* mani you’ll love.

Plus, NO MORE will also be leading a free workshop across both days of the pop-up at 2pm, offering advice and coaching on how to have open and honest conversations about dating with your trusted inner circle.

This is a limited pop-up from 25th – 26th October 2024, so be quick to book your slot.

1 Research carried out by Censuswide of 2,000 singles aged 18-35 years in the UK, between 25th September to 1st October 2024.

Ten Tips

Whether it’s online or in real life, the Ten Tips offer tangible and practical guidance so you can date positively, healthily and with confidence.

01

Know and own your truth.

Whether you know exactly what you want from dating or you’re still unsure – know that truth about yourself and own it. Don’t ever shy away from communicating this, especially on your dating profile – we all appreciate knowing where we stand.

02

Dating is a journey, not a race.

There’s no ‘fast track’ or ‘instant delivery’ when it comes to dating. Take your time to curate the perfect Tinder profile that reflects you, and when speaking with a new connection, don’t rush getting to know each other. That’s one of the best bits of dating and you may just find your new best friend, a travel buddy or soulmate.

03

You’re in control. Always.

From dating apps to meeting IRL. This is your dating journey and no one else’s. You’re in control of who and when you message and when you want to meet. Date on the terms you’re most comfortable with.

04

Know your non-negotiables.

Define what matters most to you before dating, including your deal-breakers. Knowing these can help you quickly identify whether someone aligns with your values and needs.

05

The power of the picture – you’re in charge of the composition.

Pictures are powerful. Only select what you feel comfortable sharing, and be mindful about what’s in the background on any photos uploaded to your profile. Also, get familiar with app features such as Tinder’s Photo and ID Verifications, so you can feel more confident in the authenticity of profiles you’re viewing.

06

Sharing your IRL date plans is the way forward.

Once your IRL date plans are sorted, why not share them with friends which can easily be done straight from the app with Tinder’s Share My Date feature. Afterall it makes sense that your people know where you’re going. Plus, they’ll be primed on the group chat for the all important post-date debrief.

07

Location, location, location…matters.

When moving the connection from online to IRL, location matters. Go somewhere you’re familiar with that is public. So whether it’s going for a coffee or even a picnic in the park, choose a place where you’ll feel most comfortable and you know well.

08

8 billion to 1 – there’s more out there.

Whether it’s a message or the first or fifth date, if the spark isn’t there, don’t stress. Sometimes it’s just not meant to be and that’s perfectly ok. There’s nearly 8 billion people in the world, so your special someone is out there.

09

Take it to the group – no need to keep dating a secret.

Dating doesn’t have to be a solo journey. Sharing the joy of meeting someone new – or even an amusing date – with your trusted circle can make your dating fun. Your besties are here for it all, so let them be your cheerleaders and empower you.

10

Take a break – there’s no rush (your wellbeing is the priority).

Dating is supposed to be fun, so if you’re ever feeling that you need to take time for yourself to recharge, do it. Dating is as much about self-discovery as it is about finding your person or people. You and your wellbeing come first, always.

Please note that we ask that you come to your appointment with bare, clean nails, as there will be no option to remove existing polish or extensions. Failure to do so may result in your appointment being canceled.

The full manicure will take 1h approx.

The pop-up Nailing Dating bar is open between October 25th and 26th 2024.

There will be no charge for the manicure at the Nail Bar, but you will need to make your own way to and from the pop up nail bar – located at the following address: 67 Great Titchfield Street, London W1W 7PT.

As part of this campaign you will be required to sign release forms enabling Tinder and NO MORE to use images of your manicure across their owned channels as well as being distributed to media.

In Your Dreams (nail technicians) reserve the right to refuse a manicure to anyone who has booked for whatever reason.

All bookings must be made via the website, however there may be available slots on the day due to last minute cancellations – however, these are not guaranteed so we would recommend booking online to avoid disappointment. For clarity, on the day ‘walk in appointments’ are not guaranteed and are subject to the same terms and conditions as those that have booked an appointment.

If you are unable to make your appointment please make sure to let us know as early as possible so that we can ensure that your appointment is allocated to someone else. Please let us know by emailing: events@inyour-dreams.com.

We allow a 15-minute grace period for late arrivals; if you arrive after this time, In Your Dreams may cancel your appointment.

To avoid any disappointment, please email us at events@inyour-dreams.com with your query, and we’ll be happy to help update the name and make sure everything is set for your friend’s visit.

As the pop-up is only open for two days, each person will be able to book one appointment only. We strive to provide a high quality manicure, which should last you for two weeks.

Each appointment lasts approximately 45 minutes. To ensure In Your Dream’s technicians can get started right away, please arrive with bare nails.

Attendees will be offered a choice of eight gel base colours for their manicure, with optional nail art for two fingertips. The nail technicians will be using Gel Bottle products. The products are cured by the use of UV lights.

All products and manicure services are being provided by In Your Dreams. Tinder has not been involved in the selection of any of the manicure products and it makes no representations as to the fitness for purpose/use of any of these products, or their safety, and cannot give any guarantee (including without limitation the quality thereof) relating to the manicure products used. Finally, the use by In Your Dreams of Gel Bottle products cannot be taken as an endorsement or recommendation by Tinder of these products.

There is a menu section on the website where you will see the type of manicure and nail art available to book. You can choose from a menu. The nail technicians will only be offering these designs.

Absolutely, you can change your design on the day! Just keep in mind that you’ll need to select from the menu. You can read through the ten designs here.

Definitely! You can select the shape of your nails for your manicure to match your personal style and preferences.

We can offer nail art on up to two nail tips due to time constraints, but you’re welcome to choose which nails you’d like the art applied to.

We aim to make sure you love your manicure! If something isn’t quite right, just let us know and we’ll do our best, within reason, to fix it so you leave with a smile.

No, we will only be offering manicures where you’ll be able to select from the menu. We will not be offering pedicures.

Due to high demands for appointments we cannot guarantee which nail technicians will take care of you. However, all of In Your Dream’s nail technicians are board-certified. In Your Dreams have first-rate creators to provide manicures to every visitor of the pop-up. You can find further information on each technician on the website.

If you are concerned about any allergies please contact: events@inyour-dreams.com

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide nail polish removal services. Please make sure to arrive at your appointment with bare nails, as we won’t be able to proceed with your booking if you have polish on. Please note if you arrive with polish on your nails we will not be able to carry out your manicure.

The effects of the finished manicure is expected to last two weeks. To remove any gel nails we strongly advise that you go to a professional accredited nail tech who will remove the gel in a safe and correct process.
